:welcome:
But really, there is seldom any issue with the .45 or .40, as I think back over what I've seen...right?
I think we all assume any mag issues are the 9mm....and we all know what that will do for ya! :ewink:
Way to bring it to our attention akalt24, sometimes fresh eyes are a good thing.
And notice, erc fixed it quick! Even a new guy can get things done around here!
Welcome to the group! :D

UP DATE,
Mornin Boys, well I finished puttin 800 rounds through my c9 yesterday and I have NOT had one FTF of ANY jammin since I polished the feed ramp. Not one!!
I just used my gun files and some fine sand paper then some steel wool I had layin around. I didn't want to give a report till I put 800 rounds through it. ( I picked the 800 number, I figured that should be enough and waited till I got there).
I also found that my weapon likes 3.8 grains of tite group, and nother thing I found it that the OAL of the shell makes a heck of a different's for the POI. I am now at 1.112. Interesting, huh??

Sorry this sounds dumb but I dont understand what the mag mod would help do? Is it to help the bullets slide out of the mag easier?

In a manner of speaking JHAYS. When the C9 mags have feeding problems it's usually the bullet going nose up at the entrance of the chamber. When we tweek the front lips of the mag down to .345, those lips provide just enough drag on the bullet to keep the nose down and headed into the chamber, as the bolt slides forward.......The other thing we do is polish the ramp going up to the chamber. This provides a smooth path for the nose of the bullet up and into the chamber, and much smoother feeding.

Question.... I'm using a dial type caliper. What does .345 look like on the dial?

Just saying that the care taken with most packages is lacking concern at best. ;)
The quickest way to have a part broken in a package is to mark it as "Fragile"! Just imagine the bad moods and just plain old screwing around that goes on in shipping company's at the expense of our goods. :?
