Here is an example of how to use photobucket here.

After uploading your image from your pc to photobucket,(600x800 max pic size) choose the bottom choice "Image Code"

Paste it here as follows:

(IMG]http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z167/waltham41/user_avatars_460853.jpg[/IMG)

NOTICE that I have disabled the above code by using a parentheses on each end to show the code, do not do this, just copy the code and paste it in your message, and your pic will appear as below.

It is very similar with just about any other web hosting site that permits linking images.

Happy shooting Dave Gillespie - (Sharp Shooter), you will be missed and remembered.

We will miss you Jerry Roberts - (woodyubet), you will not be forgotten.

We are better off from having known you Dean Stephens -(ampersand) It wont be the same around here without you.

The problem with getting the sticky from HPFF is that they might not like us "borrowing" it and no one here wants any problems with them.

If someone can find a link to like the google cached page I will put the link in here for those that need extra help.

Would that help?

I checked all the cached links to the old site, they are dead. There were several that would have been nice to have over here.i.e. installing the ATI stock, disassembling the 995 with mucho pics...Here's my latest toy...Image Any photo can be posted from off the net by starting with {img] and finishing with [/img] and placing the desired location in the middle...

One suggestion. Make your default picture size in photobucket 640 X 480 when uploading from your PC to the site. This will preclude all those huge pictures being displayed on the websites. PS: I just looked. the picture above is 800 X 600 and causes the page to expand.

I tried several of the online photo storage sites and I found Photobucket to be the easiest to use. It is very intuitive and you can edit to your hearts content.

Waltham, I downloaded the "Photobucket" program, saved the target pics, and choose the "IMG" at the bottom, but when I went up to "Edit", the "cut" and paste" were not highlighted, what am I doing wrong? Don't see any way to send it to the website--

Not sure I understand your issue Fred?
You shouldn't have to download PB. Just register and then download pics to your account there. Is that where you're having the problem?
