Good idea :great:
The red plastic coffee can is one of the most usable items you can have.
It's the Swiss Army knife of the container world.
I have bags of them somewhere.
I put stuff in them, use them for feed scoops, and occasionally, I fill them with water and shoot at them.

I would be lost without my coffee cans. One of the many things I miss about my deceased aunt, she drank a LOT of coffee and kept me well supplied in them.

At work, we get coffee by the 6-pack of cans...
I have a big box-full of empties out in the garage - blue ones and red ones!!
Blue ones have a little nicer handle...

And they are really handy for reloading to keep my brass organized.
And the price is right!! :great:

I use em for filling with gas and diesel and setting fires.... Fun to throw too.

Hmmm...ETA- For the piles of trees I burn every year, much easier to snap a lid on a plastic can full of gas/diesel mix and lob it to the inside of the pile than it is to wade into the pile and splash it all over myself before lighting it. That not verwy bwight... Lid on coffee can comes off easy when it hits, splashing fuel all over.

I've got shelves of coffee cans just full of bolts, nails, you name it. Best organizational aid in the world.

Now if I'd only learn what a sharpie is made for and start labeling them, then their full potential could be realized.

I use them for everthing, have for years. It took me a while to get used to using the plastic ones after using the metal cans for so many years, but then I figured out the plastic cans don't rust ;)

You just can't dump a skillet full of hot bacon grease into the plastic ones.
Well, actually you can, but don't expect it to stay put.
And at my house, melted coffee cans come with a free chorus of "chin music" from a certain woman who shall remain nameless.

They don't rust that's true, but they decompose in sunlight very quickly. They get brittle and break apart. :? Nothing lasts as good as a metal coffee can does in "the wild".
