I live out in the country where DSL speeds are limited to the copper wire that was strung in the early 60s. Because of this, I rely on my Android smart phone for most of my communication. I went to photobucket to create an account, but because I'm using a mobile device, I must download their app. Their requirements are that I give full access to my phone including my GPS location and contact list. Maybe I'm paranoid, but that seems like giving up a lot of privacy. Giving up a contact list is giving away the privacy of others. On the other hand, sharing without photos is rather empty. The saying "a picture is worth a thousand words" come to mind. Anybody find a way around this conundrum, or do you all just give up your personal information?

I'm a boring person
If they want to waste their time tracking me, they can have at it.
That being said, just as soon as I don't need it for work, my cell phone, internet and computer are going in the river

George, have you looked at imgur.com? I use both, find imgur more reliable but PB slightly more feature filled.
Give imgur a try... they may not be as intrusive. I know I would not be willing to give all that info... None of their
damned business! There are lots of things like that, that I don't participate in because of their over-bearing lack
of privacy. I don't miss it.
