So, if the Clinton had won, I'm sure there would have been a panic run on ammo, ARs, AK?s, mags, etc.
Now that we are basically "safe", so you think prices will drop, stay the same or will they still go up?
I bought my new upper "just in case", and for a while it looked like I made a good call as PSA couldn't keep them in stock, but tonight, they have quite a few.
It will be interesting to see how the prices and availability goes in the next few months.

I'm hoping supply gets back to normal on AR parts, it's been hard to find stuff and prices jumped up there quite a bit. I was paying $45 for a stripped upper, cheapest I can find one right now is right at $60 shipped. Ammo seems to have been steady, with sales running pretty much all the time. I just ordered in some Wolf 7.62x39 HP for $4.93 a box of 20 from Sportsmans Guide, lowest I've seen it in a while.

We are in a mild panic right now... caused by fear that the hildabeast was going to win.... since she didn't I think the panic will last a week or so since its already started, and then slowly subside. just my opinion.

I sure hope so... The more, the better!!

The panic is evident with 17 months of record increases in back-ground checks.
My brother went to a local home based FFL for a transfer at noon last Saturday - the FFL called it in.
And Tuesday afternoon he let my brother know the ATF called him back with a "Proceed"...
Over three days it took for that background check to go through!! Geez - that's a long time!!

Have any of you had to wait that long??

Anyway, I bought powder, bullets and primers and have a couple AR's I saved back - - Just in case!!

I'll be perfectly happy to lose my ass on all this stuff for a Trump Win!! :great:

I don't have to wait for a background check.
In Nebraska, your CCW shows you already had a background check
Fill out the paperwork, plunk down your money, take your new gun home. :D

Same here in Iowa Husker. Two ways to dodge the Nazi's here both still Nazified but make life easier nonetheless. A permit to buy that covers all guns long or short, and the CCW permit that does the same. :thumb:

Hopefully things will go down a little. I must admit, I was a bit concerned. When Obama went in, you couldn't buy ammo at any price. I did stock up, but I certainly wouldn't mind adding to it.

FWIW I see a temporary drop in AR prices, then they will start to creep back up... Don't see any panic buying as far as ammo and firearms.... Except for preppers and we panic about everything LOL

We shall see soon enough. I'd really like to see some 22 ammo show up here, all mine got wet.

did you try shooting it? I remember as a kid my tackle box was full of .22's rattling around the bottom with water and sludge and whatnot. Dry em out and shoot em. If they don't, throw them in a bonfire.

I'll try to shoot them one of these days. I shot up a few hundred rounds of 9mm and 40 s&w reloads today that got wet and most went bang with varying degrees.
