I'd like to be chasing the opossum that's taken up residence under my deck. Not sure it's for my amusement but if I get him it will make me happy.

George, just crawl under the porch and put salt on his tail.

I won't eat him without salt. Husker, maybe you've got a good recipe you could share. I'll bet schwan could use some enlightenment as to how to cook things other than bean curd. My buddy says the squirrels are so fat from raiding his wife's bird feeders, they can barely hang on the the branches. Anyone have a favorite way they like to cook em up?

Tilly, what's your method? I've seen slow cooked in chicken broth. The guy up the he road just rolls the pieces in seasoned flour and pan fries em. The pan fried method seems like it would turn out tuff. I've never had squirrel, but there sure are alot around my place.

Deep fried or in a soup or stew is my preferred method. Sometimes I'll just cook one over a camp fire if the hunting sucks.

I usually clean them in the woods and leave the innards for other critters.
