Hearing the media talking about bump fire stocks after this tragic incident in Nevada really lets you know how little they know about guns. Someone needs to let them know that you can use your finger and make a few adjustments on your grip, how you shoulder the weapon and how you hold the fore grip and you can bump fire any semi auto rifle made and that is from the shoulder as well as the waist. I can empty a hundred round drum out of a AR quicker that you can spit bump firing it. The idea for that stock come about looking at the mechanics of how you bump fire a AR or AK without the bump fire stock. I guess they will want to ban fingers now.

Don't tell them about manual bump firing, it'll just give them another reason to try banning semi-auto

Well, gun broker is deleting all ads selling or auctioning off bump/slide fire stocks and asking sellers not to list up any for sale since they will delete any that are.

With 3d printers, there's no way short of outlawing them totally to even make a dent in them.

I dont think this thread or anyone needs to go down that road of name calling or finger pointing. ;)
Let us not muck up this thread with most probably false acusations until the truth is actually known.
Yeah, I am a dumbocrat but, I dont go with the "flow" and am a strong supporter of the 2nd and gun rights. Heck, I actually vote more than 90% of the time for the repubs. I dont vote the ticket, I vote the person! ;)

Would it have sounded more realistic had I said LIBERAL?

sponge I have a friend over in Arkansas that is a registered Democrat. He refers to himself as a Southern Democrat. Considering your age, I'm guessing that is likely the platform you likely identify with too. That's back when Democrats actually had brains and weren't on the straight to hell platform they are on today.

I a registered independent, I vote the person too... Don't care for a lot of the repugs either.... a huge problem with todays America is not so much the parties as it is the professional career politicians we are dealing with.

We are better off from having known you Dean Stephens -(ampersand) It wont be the same around here without you.

A Veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard, or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Walt, I hear you and agree with you. The only reason I have not changed my party affilation to Independant is that in my area I get to vote on more elections and issues than if I were to be registered as an Independent. Around my area with their screwed up election rules, an Independent does not get to vote on many Democratic or Republican primarys. It is totally screwed up regulations/laws if you ask me.

They have the same rules here in Okla.. but I feel I more closely identify as an Independent so that is what I register as... One thing I have always been able to say about myself... what you see is what you get LOL
