If the mentally deficient are not allowed to own guns then why should they be allowed to make gun laws?

Young folks these days think they should get paid a lot of money to do nothing.

Ain't that the truth, for sure. That's why I haven't had the wife bring down her son to help, I waste so much time trying to supervise him that it's no gain for me, especially having to feed the boy.

You probably wouldn't want to leave once here for a bit.

Well, I ordered in some bar stock in a smaller size than what I normally keep on hand to try and see how much of a hassle making a few of these might be. It's an entirely different process in trying to set up something for production rather than just a one-off.

Meh. I've driven through Missouri a dozen times, one of my Marines came from there, and I have a buddy living in Blue Springs. Even he wants to escape to CO when he retires. My Marine never went back. He stayed in NC after he EAS'd. He had a thing for fat chicks and strippers though. Typical crayon eater BS.

Meh, Blue Springs is close enough to Kansas to not count. I'm talking southern Missouri, not necessarily the Ozarks which has become too commercialized, but we're in the other side of the state, almost close enough to Illinois to spit on it. I'm talking highways that climb the hills along the edge of the rivers, and you can drive 20 miles and never meet another vehicle. I can hike a mile here and if I add in the elevation changes it's 2 miles...

That's why I love CO. You can actually go get lost in whatever type of terrain you want to. I pick on him all the time about being a half Kansan. I have a few friends somewhere in St Louis, couldn't give you specifics though. It's written down somewhere. I don't miss the city, I don't miss traffic, I don't miss having neighbors, and I damn sure don't miss the crime rate.

Here! Here!
What Rach said!
Wife raised the idea of leaving Iowa the other day and moving back to Colorado. Not sure it's the right state to move to anymore however. It's owned by libtards now, the gun laws are too restricted, and most places it still seems to too expensive to hang a hat. :dunno:
She suggested south west or west of the springs. Our preference would be Parachute however. But south works, so would anyplace not in Iowa...

I bought a 2,400 sq ft, 7 bed, 2 bath house on an acre of land with two 1,000sqft garages for $68k, assessed at $76k. I moved in, did a few minor improvements (paint, yard maintenance, exterior security lighting and cameras) and it assessed at $99k this year.

The Otero County Sheriff openly disagrees with the mag law, and refuses to enforce it. That's honestly the only restrictive gun law we have. Denver has the CC only law, but the rest of the state is permitless open carry.

You have to hunt, but there are reasonably priced properties available once you get away from I-25.
