mornin All,

Has anyone tried this setup for your rifle scope??
I like my 10/22 but I can't hit nothing under 20 foot with it. It would be nice to throw a latch and have it come off.

That's a slick idea Hobbles! Wish I had an "appropriate" rifle to mount one on! ;)

Keep saying I'm going to get one but...

Howdy, hobbles. I've never tried a quick detach mount, but wished I had one a few times.

I went and ordered the mount, I want it. I'll have it by next weekend.
I remember when I seen the TARGET TRIGGER assembly and liked it, but darn was the price a lil high. Now keep in mind that my 10-22 was built back in the 80ies, it's not the cheap parts that they have in them now, mine HAS the metal parts.. So I decided to build my own. I went this way and it worked out fine. It was an easy upgrade. ( I can't get it bigger , you'll have to save the file and make it bigger so you can read it) If you want to do yours, here's how.

I never really gave the qd mounts much thought but I don't really ever need to remove my scopes.

I tried the Leupold detachable set up quite a few years back, and it was pretty slick, always came back to zero too. That was on a high powered rifle, so I would imagine a 10/22 wouldn't be an issue.

But you gave me an idea for my 10/22 take down. Right now I have a Leupold 3x9x40 Hunter on it, and there are times when I wouldn't mind shooting irons. Might give that a try.

I've got one of the QD mounts on my AK, was really surprised that it held zero after being removed a few times for transporting.
