K guys, the target is a penny, or the diameter of a penny drawn on a paper target.
You can shoot, adjust, shoot, adjust, as much as you like.
I don't care if you shoot 5000 rounds through a target to get the hit, but the hit must be blatantly obvious to all for inspection. If you miss enough times to shred the target, put up a new one.

One hole in the diameter of a penny is what it will take

If you can put one round through the target with the weapon specified, at the range specified for the weapon and prove with a vid., you are in.

I'll update the OP for a valid point made in reference to pistol caliber long guns.
I'll also add another possible rank of Spot Shooter to the list for those that may want to try their hand at an online Spot shoot if there is an interest here.

So, if I read right, the hole/round cannot break the outside edge of the circle, right? That makes sense to me.

Correct, one hole IN the target, not ALMOST.

No, it's not, but there are ways of doing it. That's what the Appleseed guys do, .

My family and I are supposed to do the Appleseed shoot this month.
But I think we're gonna back out since it takes 400 to 500 rounds for each paerson to do the weekend. :-?
And I just don't wanna use up that much ammo with the way ammo is hard to find right now. :-(

Hopefully with the weather permitting my family and I will hit the range in about 2 weeks. So I'm in on this one! ;-)
I'll try it with every gun I have if I have to!

I really feel bad for you folks with no space. I have a an 80 yd "range" 2 minutes from the house ( yeah, its a flat spot and a canyon wall on the side of the road, but its free!)
And only 20 miles away is a nat'l forest, 30 miles away is a wilderness area, and a guy 5 minutes from me that I know has a set of gongs up on the canyon behind his house, so he can shoot to about 400 yards while sitting in a lawnchair on his patio.
Ah, the wide open spaces out here in the west...

So get your butt to the range and get some longer distance shooting in already! ;-)

What's "deed restricted" mean 82-92?
