I'm not big on two-tone schemes usually, and I'm not a fan of FDE/khaki on guns (I don't like brown on guns), but I have to say that you did a damn nice job on that. Looks good!

Picky, picky, picky. The easier question is, what do you like? Lol.
I agree with camo on guns, mostly because they're played out. I do like wood gun stocks, brown or black. Even though it makes them heavier.

I have distinctly similar tastes. I dont like FDE AR's or SCAR16's or any of that crapola, I generally dont even like "modern" type guns.

I've fired all kinds of AR's and whatnot, but they just arent for me, especially any of that "tacticool" bologna!

I bought an M1A instead of an AR, and am keeping the fine wood stock!

That being said, this lil thing just needed to be jazzed up a bit, as mush as i dislike "tacticool" the only think I like LESS is chrome (cars, bikes, guns....). So, this is how it came out! I'm still debating on what to do with the sight, if maybe I want a reflex site rather than the tube style red dot.

I want to go shoot it more though...but I'm going out of town this weekend :-(

True dat! lol.
I agree about shiny chrome guns. To each there own, but I don't like chrome on my guns. Reflexes light too easy and the "enemy" sees you coming. Talking about the game, prey or even deer. Lol.

I went with the reflex sight on mine and love it.

Thanks again for the compliments guys.

I like spray painting...and do it alot.

I painted my ammo cans to match the same night I did the carbine. This took about an hour.

Though most attribute it to being strictly a tactical color, I like black. It is the ultimate in functionality, it goes with anything. Its easier to coordinate your shoes, belts, handbags, and other accoutrements with a black gun. Black is easy to touch up and clean up, its usually the cheaper option, and its easy to accessorize the gun itself. I just like the multifunctionality of black.

Nice! I like it! I have around 30 or more ammo cans these days. But mine are all marked with a stupid labeling machine. Nothing near as cool, as yours! :thumb:

Mine used to be green and have the yellow writing all over them, and were sprayed "empty" by whatever agency sold them to whoever i bought them from.

They're a lil sexier now!
