Has anyone heard of, or made a useable and practical high cap. Mag other than the promag 15rnd? Is like to see a double stack made, or modified to fit. Put some heads together boys let's see if it can be done.

I dont think a double stack would work unless you could come up with a practical way to mod the inside of the pistol grip/magwell

there is lots of room for a double stack mag, i checked deminsions of my taurous pt111 millinium pro mags and it is only just a drimmel tool and a little length from a good fit. what i have read is that there is a slight problem with the reciever to get the mags to match up. I was just hoping that one of the many on here may have tried or have some insight on how one may be able to get this done.

I dont recall anyone trying to mod double stack mags.

There have been several that have taken the 995 mags and welded Finnish Suomi 9mm drums on to them, and a couple of people have even got them to work to a certain extent, except for having trouble with the welds breaking where the HP mag connected to the drum.

To be honest bud. I don't go screwing around with my guns. My theory is that the people that made them knows what they're doing and I don't.
I have recently bought a Pro-Mag from my LGS because I trust Deb, the sales woman.
I have been fiddling with the mag's ears and lips so that it feeds right, but I have yet to shoot any rounds from the Pro-Mag.
I'll report it's performance when I do.

Thanks, as far as fooling with the gun goes, that is how a new model comes out. People take the proven model and work upon it to make it fit their needs. There is a lot of discussion on this topic on hipointfirearmsforum but to no end. Lots of gun smiths make their money by producing things such as hi capacity mags for guns, like promag did for these. A 1911 mag fits 4095 with ear catch adjustment. Just saying....

No problem, I'm just trying to diversify the discussion on hi cap. Mags.

The hi cap mags is a discussion that has been going on for years now.... every now and again someone takes a stab at it. I think its just a matter of time before someone comes up with something that will work and is economically feasible.

Ive read where hi-point realy doesnt want to have a high cap. mag for the carbines. This makes no since to me since their closest competitor has a wepon that is half the rifle but carries high cap. mags (kel-tec sub 2000) and because of this they sell better and get better reviews. the hi-point is a better gun though more accurate and has the ergonomics down. the new TS look is way better also and they made it more assult like, as to add the accessories to them. Its sad they have not came out with a upgraded stock or something to that effect to allow for different mags. im not looking for a 100 rnds but a double stack mag the same lingth as the promag would be sure to carry at least 20 and that is something to work with!

I cant say this for sure, but I have heard that Tom Deeb, the owner of Hi Point is not in a big hurry to do hi cap mags, partly because there was a Hi Point carbine used at the Columbine school shooting years ago.

Take this for what its worth, a unconfirmed piece of gossip ;)

There you go. Anyway, my question is if I have a knife that I kill people with, is it an Assault knife?
What about the statistics of more people are killed by drunk drivers than by "Assault Rifles?"
So know we enter into naming a car into an assault car, right?
A gun is just a tool, much like a hammer, then you take that hammer and beat somebody to death with it, is it now an assault hammer?
Sorry bud, I just have a problem with the labeling of guns. They are our last resort to Freedom.

Really? Is that why they were so successful? Not like that douche at the theater that had his AR jam on him. What a dumb shit. Lol.
Please keep in mind guys, I'm not for mass murders. Do I need lawyers to get me out of this mess? Lol.
