First, the Sig.
I don't know if it's the gun or the ammo, (brass coated steel from Freedom Munitions) but I had some issues with this little gun yesterday.
Failure to extract first couple mags resulting in an attempted double feed.
I got disgusted and put it away for a while.
SW22 Victory was next up, and I gotta say, it's the sweetest pistol I've ever shot.
It practically shoots itself, I can pull the trigger as fast as I can and put every round in a 2 inch area, and if I take my time, I can keep every hole touching.
If you ever thought about getting one of these, I suggest you grab one, sweetest 22 ever.
Back to the Sig....ripped off another 35 rounds without a hiccup, shooting good groups.
It's a little small for my hands though.
A friend was out shooting with me, he got a SW22 Victory too, and has a S&W M&P 22 compact.
He was all over the place with the 22 compact, but his Victory shot really well.
He also shot his Shield 9mm, and put them all in a group about 5 inches, but lo and left.
I asked him if I could shoot one shot, and I drilled the bullseye, so I'm guessing the sights are ok
He said "You just had to do that didn't you?"
At least he felt better that his sights weren't screwed up.
The Sig finished strong, but I'm thinking I'll dump it anyway
It just doesn't fit me.
I dunno, maybe I should shoot it some more, but I'm jonesing for a Glock 43 or a Springfield XDs
Thoughts?

I would give the sig another chance if it were me... I think they are sweet pistols. As far as the SW22 Victory, I have brought a couple in for customers, and I want one for myself. They are a very nice feeling gun in hand. My customers had a little trouble with one of them at first but it smoothed out and both are shooting fine now.

I had a feller wanting a S&W 22 Victory - he called me the other evening.
"$369 at Cabela's in Rapid" he said. "Can you get me one??"

So, I look and look - and a 1/2 dozen suppliers don't have them or are "allocated"...
That means - "If you consistently do $100,000 a year with us - we'll let you have one!!"

I don't know exactly how Walt does it - but I only have a few suppliers I do that much business with... I WISH!! :mdr:

I DID manage to find the guy one!!
But, from a place I rarely use.
They charge me extra for shipping (UPS Blue which = $$) and I have pay with a CC which = another 2% - 3%.

Anyway - he wanted it pretty bad and he's a good customer - I told the guy $375...
With the higher sales tax in Rapid I would be like a dollar higher than them.
Not to mention I'm 90 miles closer.

"Well, I think I'll just wait then..." he says.

Grrrr...

Welcome to the wonderful world of selling guns LOL....

Its amazing to me how cheap people can be over a few dollars on a gun and then not blink an eye and drop a couple of hundred bucks on a new pair of sunglasses.

Ive got where I feel like charging people 10 bucks to look for a gun for them that way it isn't a total waste of my time..

I also have people that I know are all look and no buy and when they ask me to check on a price for them I just tell them all of my suppliers are out at the moment, check Buds gun store.com

That's about what I paid for mine, so it's not bad.
They'll probably go down, but for now, I have one
