I have a Phoenix in both 22 and 25. I'm on my third box of Winchester 555 bulk pack and have to say it's been a great little shooter. (Remember when you could buy bulk 22s at the farm store?) After about 100 rounds it starts to hang up,, but after a cleaning it shoots like new. Parts are cheap and it's small enough to hide behind my wallet. Just remember to flip the barrel around before releasing the slide during cleaning or else the spring will end up in the next county. The reverse barrel technique employed during reassembly prevents damage to the spring. It's in the owners manual, but I went through a bag of springs before I read it. I thought I'd share my stupidity as a public service announcement.

OK, it was fun, despite the snickering, however, I got escorted from the range! :run:

I've been wanting one.
Bud's has them from around $120-$200 but I haven't seen any locally.

It's lucky you already had your pants off if your range has "escorts"

The Phoenix is a great little gun for the money.... The easiest way to assemble and disassemble it is to lock the slide to the rear, then remove the barrel the slide holds the compressed spring in place. Works well if you just want to swap barrels or just clean the barrel. A LOT easier than their recommended method.

If the mentally deficient are not allowed to own guns then why should they be allowed to make gun laws?

I secure those items in place with a big red rose. When the cop saw that rose, he said, "What the hell is this?" To which, I replied, "Read the card, Sweetie."
